The women pictured above now live among gardens of plenty in their region of Benin thanks to solar paneling and a drip irrigation system from the Solar Electric Light Fund. In just a year, the innovations enabled them to harvest eggplant, okra, carrots, mangos and more from land that never used to provide enough to feed their children.
