I’ve attended many iftars (breaking fast) over the years, and been glad to share this meaningful time with Muslim Singaporeans. The one yesterday was organised by the Indian Muslim Social Service Association, which has held the event in Ang Mo Kio for many years.
I also handed out green packets to the children. These are “ang pows”, but green ones. :) A Hari Raya custom which has become more popular in recent years! – LHL
