Sports, like most aspects of life in the Canadian Arctic, are not easy. Weather conditions on the tundra make it difficult to play soccer, so the game is often played indoors, on basketball courts. “Around here, you’ve got to be flexible with a capital F,” said Dawn Currie, the coordinator of the tournament. @ianwillms was on #nytassignment in #Nunavut last week for @nytimessports.
