I'm getting so many messages about my new tattoo so here's a little progress snap for you, as you can see I haven't cleaned it up yet because it's still healing so there's a bit of loose ink around it that won't be there once the scabs are off. Seeing as my tattoo sits in my bra line I've switched my regular bra for a soft stretch sports bra for now and cover the skin with cling film to prevent it from sticking to the material. I chose to have a dove on my ribs because to me this is a symbol of peace, hope and new beginnings. Although I'm sharing this with the world, the area of my ribs are a personal and intimate part of my body that are rarely exposed day to day as I'm not looking to shock or impress people with the body art that I have. I prefer discreet, meaningful and heartfelt pieces that I will cherish forever, and the only time others will really see this is perhaps in a string bikini on the beach or during a photoshoot. Whatever you do to your body do it for yourself, never to please other people and understand that whatever you choose you have for life.
