The tropical season is in full effect for the eastern Pacific. Category 4 major #HurricaneAndres (top image) will continue to send swell to Mexico and SoCal over the next couple of days while tracking WNW/NW and slowly weakening. As of this morning, #TropicalStormBlanca (bottom image) is now south of Mainland Mexico and is also forecasted to become a major hurricane (wind speed greater than 110mph). Stay tuned to the #SurflineForecast and check out the Andres and Blanca blog updates this afternoon on Surfline.com....Meanwhile in the Atlantic, today (June 1st) is the official start of the 2015 hurricane season. No tropical cyclone activity is expected in the Atlantic over the next couple of days.
