Beginning in 1990, Tom Curren and Maurice Cole entered into a surfing and shaping partnership that began with the development of the Reverse Vee surfboard and culminated in Curren’s trials to World Champ season. The Reverse Vee was actually a happy accident, partly the result of blanks that arrived with too much rocker, but quickly turned into a design that defied common shaping theories of the era. The boards would carve at higher speeds and allowed for ultra­fast rail surfing. After years of dormancy, Maurice has decided to resurface the design, making it available to the public once again via custom order.
