"I was photographing A$AP Mob at Samsung during SXSW, and I got there just as they were about to go on stage to perform to a packed house. A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky were backstage together with the rest of the A$AP Mob. They were all hanging out in a circle taking a few minutes to get loose. Then they got quiet and came in close to say a prayer together. It's always so cool to see artists' intimate pre-show rituals; you can always capture such rare and real moments. I was standing by Rocky and asked him for a few quick portraits. He was super cool and I caught a few frames of Rocky showing off his grill and bling to my camera. This is one of my favorite portraits from that night. A$AP Mob have so much chemistry and energy on stage. They are rock stars!"
