Sports Hub came under 'attack' today, as the Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore Police Force and other agencies conducted a joint security exercise (Exercise Northstar). This is one scenario we tested: a car bombing at the security checkpoint.
I hope no terrorist attack ever happens here, but we must be prepared. Good that our agencies are working hard at it, especially with the SEA Games around the corner.
We can all play a part to keep Singapore safe. Be vigilant and keep a look out for one another. Thank you also to all the volunteers who participated in the exercise today. – LHL
