This picture was taken the day that we moved into our new office less than 5 months ago. I remember walking in and feeling like we had so much room to grow, but little did I know we would be busting at the seams in a matter of 3 months. I have placed such high expectations for myself and for my brand that I often lose sight of how far we have come in a short amount of time. One of my girls sent me this picture over the weekend and it put a lot into perspective for me. I always have my eyes set on the future. I'm always looking towards bigger and better but every once in a while, it's important to take a look back...
I'm starting to realize when we have reached that point where no more growth can occur in a certain place or circumstance, which has allowed us to progress and evolve as a team. I am finally learning the art of delegating and entrusting key people with things that I no longer need to do. I have done everything up to this point without a penny of financial backing; something that I am extremely proud of. I employ strong, beautiful and empowered women who push me to be better every single day. I came from humble beginnings which has kept me grounded throughout this entire journey. I have created a working environment where we learn from our mistakes and where the team comes before any individual. I have chosen a life where I earn what I have. There isn't a thing that I own or have achieved that was handed to me and I'm proud to inspire others to do the same.

It's great to be humble, but every now and again, it's also great to toot your own horn. If you work hard for what you have and where you are, acknowledge it. I know it's easy to get caught up in the desire for more, but don't forget to realize how much you've already accomplished in the process. #ontobiggerandbetter #fitandthick
