Flower Series: Cherry Blossom at Harlem’s window. The flower language is Spirituality and Beauty. However, it often gives me a strong sense of sadness. During the world War II, in Japan there was a war-propaganda song called as “Doki-no-Sakura” – Classmate and Cherry Blossom -- that transfigured that young soldiers, often teens, die for then Imperial Japan. My father didn’t go to the war, because of too young. But the song was so good, impressive and the wartime gave him so strong impact that he used to sing even very long after the war ended.
