George, 49, 1st Iraq War veteran in 1991 and 1992. I photographed him on Feburary 10th. Yet, I would like to post now, as today’s cold weather reminds me of him. We talked about war and PTSD and about how it suddenly came up. We shared a view -- humans could contain some bad memories or bad experience, yet if those come up together, we often cannot hold... George had been become homeless. He just left a shelter because someone took his clothes, yet morel likely because he was very disappointed on the guards who didn't care about it at all… I haven’t seen him since then… It is also very bad, whatever I have for the reason… #newyork #war_veteran #ptsd #iraqwar #war
