Rest in peace, all the victims of Israel-Gaza, or Israel-Hamas, war ! As a result of the Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7th, at least 1,200 people, including children, even toddlers and babies, have died in the inhuman manner. Allegedly 150 hostages or so were brought in Gaza. Israel nearly right after declared war as the right of self-defence against the militants. In Gaza, due to the Israeli retaliatory air strikes, more than 1,100 people, including many children, also died. The war would be further escalated for the next several weeks. It might become nearly impossible to have peace between Israelis and Palestinians after the war ends. It is so sad, since I, like so many others, including my Israeli and Palestinian friends, have dreamed for decades of seeing two states — Israel and Palestine — someday exist together.
