This image is from my ongoing personal project tentatively titled Sleeping Cars, which was published in National Geographic Magazine in November 2013 as a work in progress. I'm a night owl and don't need much sleep, so as a departure from my normal documentary work, sometimes I go out at night when I'm home in LA and photograph cars while they seem to sleep.
