Known as the ADX, the facility is the highest-security prison in the United States, and conditions were largely a mystery until a recent lawsuit revealed the harsh world within. For this weekend's issue of The New York Times Magazine, the photographer Jamey Stillings, who is known for #aerial photography, shot the ADX from the sky — as you might imagine, gaining access isn’t easy.
