Seng Ianhao (11) and Ingle (9), came to the wake. They are already inventors who have filed a patent for their invention: a walking stick holder for the elderly! It won them the 2014 Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors’ Award, and first prize at the 24th Young Inventors’ Showcase of Houston.
They had intended to present it to my father for SG50. I am sure he would have appreciated it, and been proud of these two young Singaporeans. -LHL (MCI photo by Chwee)
