Just a variation of squats. I like to use Bosu Ball in my workouts. It's a great exercise to not only shape up your butt and legs, but also work your core.
Perform this o e nice and slow and concentrate on contraction, keep your core tight.
For beginners it's better to start with no weight and move on to the next level as you get stronger and used to the movement.
