Happy Friday! I get frequent questions on my typical food intake so here it is:
• I eat 5 times a day- 4 meals & 1 snack
• my first meal is consumed upon waking which consists of 6 eggs whites & two slices of Ezekiel bread with either avocado or labneh (Lebanese spread similar to Greek yogurt)
• around 11am I consume a brown rice protein shake made with almond milk. The brand I currently use is Growing Naturals and I get it from @vitacost. Just a forewarning, if you've never tried plant based protein powders, they can be a bit grainy.
• my next three meals contain 3-5 oz. of protein, 1 cup of carbohydrates, and 1 cup of veggies. These meals are typically consumed at 2:00pm, 5:30pm, and 9:30pm.

With my weeks getting progressively more busy I only have 3 days a week to workout. Sticking to this daily nutritional regimen has helped me maintain my body even on the weeks that I can hardly workout. Nutrition is the key pilar in the way we look in feel so if improving either of those things is on your Goal list for this year, I suggest you do a makeover in the kitchen before you attempt one in the gym. #fitandthicktip
