This is the world’s longest swimming pool… on a rooftop 55 stories above street level. Designed by architect Moshe Safdie, this high-rise building in #Singapore is an answer to the dated, dark and ugly apartment buildings that clutter most cities. Moshe thinks city buildings should be open structures that allow light to pour into apartments and across streets. Outdoor spaces like public parks and jogging paths—or a swimming pool the length of three football fields—can be built into high-rises to help cities breathe.
