Seeing a dark fin in the water next to you may seem like a nightmare, but sharks have more reason to be afraid of us than we do of them. Each year 100 million sharks are killed by the fishing industry, and their habitats are increasingly threatened. @ナショナルジオグラフィック photographer @BrianSkerry hopes his more playful, respectful images will show that sharks are hardly the monsters we think.
