Happy #Losar, the Tibetan #Buddhist New Year’s Day! In 1986 I was very fortunate to capture this image of a #loving, #nomadic couple on #pilgrimage to #Lhasa, #Tibet, circumambulating the #Jokhang Temple after #praying within. Sadly, such a picture can seldom be taken any longer. #Tibet is now a de-facto part of #China, the buildings in the background have been bulldozed into trinket shops and a new railroad has led to Tibetans being a minority in their own home land.
