I don't know about you, but as soon as I finish my workout I can't wait to get out of the gym and get my meal in ?. But it doesn't mean you have to skip the Foam Rolling, which is extremely beneficial for you, as it promotes better recovery and minimizes the soreness, especially on leg day.
There are few benefits of foam rolling before and after your workout.
If you do it before workout it should be first thing to do before warm up and stretching. It helps to get blood flowing the areas that maybe aren't receiving as much blood flow and helps to reduce tension in muscles. As a part of cool down, the rolling helps to flash out blood that has pooled in the working muscles and allows fresh nutrients and oxygen to come in and begin the healing presses.
