On 20 November, Mrs. Paul Mellon’s 9.75 carat Fancy Vivid Blue diamond sold for $32.6 million, shattering the world auction record for any blue diamond as well as the world auction record price-per-carat for any diamond. The stone was purchased by a Hong Kong private collector who named it The Zoe Diamond. #SothebysJewels
