Photo by @StevenMartine on assignment for @National Geographic Travel in #FloridaWild. Ian Bellino snorkels east of the Indian Key Historic State Park at the Alligator Reef. The reef is part of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and is easily accessible from the Upper Matecumbe Key. The turquoise water of the reef is home to thousands of fish and brightly colored corals. Bellino is a tour guide employed by the Kayak Shack, located at Robbie’s Marina in Islamorada, and the reef is one of the many adventures that can be had off the shores of the Upper Matecumbe Key.
