Its premises take up six or seven city blocks in the heart of Cocoa Beach, and the main shop, pictured here, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and has over 50,000 feet of retail space. So if you've got a hankering for an RJ's t-shirt after a night cruising the bars, or you need a bar of wax or a leash for a dawn patrol surf mission, they've got you covered. The shop also houses the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum, which exhibits vintage boards and photographs documenting the history of surfing on the East Coast (represent!). Adjacent buildings house surf schools, kiteboarding schools, stand-up paddleboard schools, rental shops, even a hotel. The Surf School is independently owned and run by Craig Carroll and managed by his son Cory. There are satellite stores all over the East Coast and Gulf Coast, and you can't drive on a road in the South without eventually seeing one of their billboards. And nearly every hotel key card in Cocoa Beach has a Ron Jon's logo and coupon on it. That's some serious marketing presence.
