This is the first time to break my rule on instagram – because this is not shot by iPhone. Yet, I want to post this. The caption: This is the first time three-year-old Palestinian amputee Sharef Waef Al-Namla is hugged by his father Waef Sharef Al-Namla, 26, as well as his mother Isra’a Maher Al-Namla, 20, since he lost his leg in an Israeli air strike during the summer’s 50-day war between Israel and Hamas. This young boy suffered severe mental trauma, not only because of the attack, but because his father hugged and covered him during the strike. Unfortunately his PTSD continues, as well as the family ordeal. His father also lost a leg, and his mother lost both. They need artificial legs and rehabilitation. However, without help they cannot afford such expensive medical treatment. @Q.
