On October 7th in Hong Kong, Sotheby’s will offer an 8.41-carat Pear-shape Internally Flawless Fancy Vivid Purple-Pink diamond, which was cut from the 19.54-carat rough pictured here. This stunning diamond ranks amongst the rarest and most desirable of coloured diamonds ever seen at auction (est. US$12.8/15.4 million) ?

The stone will be previewed in Singapore, Taipei, New York, London, Geneva and Hong Kong before the auction.
