Here's today's post from @tonibologni - Chronicle 9 of 18. Too early to the party: Everywhere you look these days, it's all about the Highlight & Contour. Did you know that NYX was the pioneer in this Highlight & Contour game? We introduced this concept back un 2006 and had a mildly un-successful launch(?). This was pre-selfie era and most consumers did not know what to make of this super dark and super light combo except real pros in Makeup. Nowadays we all know the key to a goooood selfie is a gooood H&C game! So we threw in the white towel and sent this item to the permanent land of rejection. The items are pictured on the left side and I pulled them from our archive to show you guys. This is the perfect example of how everything in life, both personal and business is all about the timing. Even a great concept item will end up a failure if timing is not right and even the worst concept items will be a huge hit at the right time.
