'Chronicle day 5 of 18. In year 2002 which was 3 years into the business. I was still taking no money from the business. Nada, zip, zap, nothing whatsoever. I crashed at mi madre's house which allowed me to have no personal expense so I took zero income from NYX and reinvested every single dollar back into business for the first 3 years because building super strong financial foundation was imperative. So they say, men are stronger then women. Well, I dont care how strong he is, put that man in 6 inch heels and have him haul a dolly. I bet even grown men will squeal with pain. But that's what I did for years and years because I was frugal beyond control. Okay frugal is a chic word, let's just say I was cheap. :). I did not want to waste any money on transportation to the trade shows so I simply hauled them myself. I used to load show samples in my car and drove to where ever the shows were and even hauled all the drayage myself. It was boxes of merchandise, loaded to max on dolly just like this in this pix. And I did it all in 6 inch heels and with my hair curled. And why did I work so hard? Because I had a dream. Girl friends, we are the only specie that can do anything in 6 inch heels. We are strong and we rock!!
