Here's today's retrospective from @tonibologni: Chronicle day 3 of 18. Let's fly back to 1999. Background is Down Town, LA because this is the birth city of NYX. Okay, it's not Manhattan but it is the 2nd largest metropolitan city in US. I was in my 20s just like most of you, young, hip, cool Instagramers are ( yes, You! ) and I only liked everything in black, white and sleek. I almost exclusively only worn black and white throughout my 20s and 30s. As an entrepreneur, your personal style is always reflected in the product or service you sell. Did you notice NYX having more and more color matched components in last couple of years? Well, that's because I got a sudden thirst of color! I LOVE wearing all kinds of colors lately and I'm even wearing prints, which I have never worn before!!! So for a side note for entrepreneurs, don't rely exclusive market research or trends. Trends come and go. Let your personal style reflect through your products! Featured products are, our Kabuki brush and our oldest compact powder CP. I know NYX is not so well known for our brushes but we DO have brushes and pretty dang good ones!! Anyway, beauty tip, if you live in metropolitan area, wearing foundation or face powder acts as a shield from all the pollution. Just make sure to clean very well before going to sleep. I can not express enough how important taking make up off is more important then putting make up on!
