My name is Alexandra Ling and I'm 15-years-old. I train at Elite Ballet Theatre in Temple City, CA.

My dance-inspirations are Marianela Nunez and Daniil Simkin.
Marianela inspires me to be more diverse (in terms of dancing). She is perfect – both technically and artistically. Whenever you watch her dance, you feel her emotions. My dream is to empathize with the audience like she does.
Daniil inspires me to be more free. Even though he is a principal dancer in a major ballet company, he manages to fun pictures and videos. He still has time for himself and that is something I don't want to forget.

I hope to inspire others to discover, embrace, and be themselves. In our society today, it is so hard for dancers (or people in general) to be free. There's are judging eyes everywhere, and I want to inspire others to get over that gaze and be more open to others.

My dream companies have always been American Ballet Theatre and The Royal Ballet. I've also been looking at the English National Ballet since they are also a touring company. To me, the possibilities are wide open.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, taking pictures, and making videos.
