My name is Adrian Pasten and I'm a student at SAB. My level is Intermediate Men. I started dancing at a small studio in Connecticut a few blocks away from my house at the age of 4. All because I watched Billy Elliot the movie and I wanted to do what he was doing. I loved it from the first day.
My parents pulled me out of kindergarten because I was getting bored and I didn't like it. So I've been homeschooled since.
Then my parents decided to take me into New York City at the age of 7 to take ballet a little bit more seriously and I studied at another small studio in midtown NYC. I stayed there for a few months while I auditioned for bigger studios. I auditioned for several places and got into all of them but SAB is what caught my parents eyes, so I signed up for their year round program and started as a preparatory student at the age of 8. I'm 16, still go to SAB, and I travel into NYC by train from Connecticut every day but, I couldn't be happier.
