My name is Kessia Andersen, I am 13 years old and I am an Academy II student at the Milwaukee Ballet School. Ballet pretty much sums up my entire life :) I dance wherever, whenever I can and I love it more than anything else on this planet. My inspirations obviously include the major balletic figures of the time, such as the incredible Svetlana Zakharova, Sylvie Guillem, Maria Kochetkova, Evgania Obraztsova, etc, but I am also continuously inspired by the dancers in the school's adjoined company, (the Milwaukee Ballet Company) namely, Luz San Miguel and Nicole Teague. It would be a dream come true to someday dance in this company, whose dancers I have watched since childhood, but I also have some other aspirational companies in mind, such as the National Ballet of Canada.
