Peace and Reconciliation meeting, Pajong Uganda 2008

On July 22 2002 56 people were masacred at Pajong A, Mucwini, Kitgum District by the Lords Resistance Army. 6 years later the Acholi Religious Leaders Peace Initiative met with survivors to see what it might take to heal the community and let those effected live in peace with those responsible. Rebuilding a country after decades of war is long, trying, difficult work. #uganda #latergram
