佐渡裕さんのインスタグラム写真 - (佐渡裕Instagram)「池袋の東京芸術劇場で上演されている「ねじまき鳥クロニクル」を観劇してきました。音楽を担当しているのは、僕が大好きな大友良英さん！しかも本人が舞台横で生演奏をするというので、これは絶対外せないと思いました✊ 僕は普段あまり本を読みません。仕事に関する文献とゴルフ関係の本は読みますが、村上春樹さんは唯一「小澤征爾さんと音楽の話をする」を読みました。これはとても新鮮で、小澤ファンとしては、よくぞここまで小澤先生に聞いてくれた！という名著でした。そんなわけで、今回の観劇の動機は100%、天才・大友さんだったわけでしたが、いや〜素晴らしいお芝居でした‼️ 演出、ダンス、舞台装置、そして音楽、どれをとっても驚きの連続でした。後で気になって村上春樹さんを検索したところ、なんと京都市出身、西宮と芦屋で育ったと書いてある！！僕とドンピシャ！村上春樹さんの本全部読んでみたくなりました😎 お話は人の中の善と悪がテーマで、人間誰にもある平穏と醜さが、様々な形でドス黒く現れます。ストーリーは複雑で何層にも重なってていくのですが、理屈ではなく、それぞれのシーンで体の中の何かが刺激され、とても興奮しました！東京の後、大阪、名古屋でも上演されるそうです。これはぜひ観るべき作品だと思いますよ✊✊✊ I saw " The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater in Ikebukuro. Its music is by Otomo Yoshihide, one of my favorite composers/musicians! For this play, he composes and performs on the side stage. So I couldn't miss it ✊. I don't usually read many books. I read work-related literature and golf books. The only Haruki Murakami book I read was "Talking About Music with Seiji Ozawa-san." As an Ozawa fan, I was impressed he asked so much of Mr. Ozawa! It was a great book, and I felt fresh about Ozawa-sensei. So, at first, I was 100% motivated to see the play by the genius Mr. Otomo. It was a fantastic play!! The direction, dance, stage set, and music were all full of surprises. I later searched for Haruki Murakami and found that he was born in Kyoto and grew up in Nishinomiya and Ashiya! That's precisely the same as me! It made me want to read all of Haruki Murakami's books. The story is about good and evil in people and the peace and ugliness that we all have come out in various forms of dreadful blackness. The story is complicated and multi-layered, but I was very excited. Not by logic but by each scene that stimulated something in my body! This play will be held in Osaka and Nagoya after Tokyo.
