When I try to think back to all that I have achieved and experienced in almost a decade my mind boggles! How different the world is, my mindset, my everyday routine and goals, yet I'm still the very same soul deep inside. Sometimes we need to take a moment to stop and reflect upon our journey, and to appreciate where we came from, celebrate who we are and recognise where it is that we are going on our journey through life. Looking back to this picture of me in 2015 I think of all of the struggles and challenges, that at that time, were still yet to happen to me and I want to love and protect myself. I see my innocence and naivety that can only be guided by time and experience. It's best to live blissfully unaware in the moment rather than fret about what is to come. The message that I would give to my younger self if I could go back in time right now would be - don't lose yourself whilst trying to please others. Today I am incredibly thankful for the lessons that life has taught me, and in another 8yrs time will be just as enthusiastic to look back to today and count my blessings.
