Another tournament in the books! This tournament was a new experience for me. Tony was out of town and made it there just in time to see me go on the mats but I had to drive to the tournament by myself, warm up by myself and let me tell you the entire time I was thinking of you gym newbies! Doing something by yourself for the first time is scary! But you guys inspire me to be tough and do hard and scary things!
I also had to go up a weight division for this tournament because there was no one in division. I’ve never competed in this weight division before.
My first match I won with a box choke 🙌🏼 my second match as you can see I lost. I learn so much from tournaments like these and I know what I need to work on to go out and get GOLD next time 🥇
