Dear Paolo—

I’m writing you this note—though you’re no longer with us on this earth, your spirit is and always will be. I want to thank you and your family for giving me, Nan, Eva and TJ an exquisite gift. No, it wasn’t a bottle from one of your favorite vineyards outside of Larino. You gave us all an experience with our film cameras that we’ll never forget.
