Hi! It’s Erica @ep_lettering here for another guest post! I love rock lettering, and Sakura products work so well on this surface.

Today I chose a nice smooth rock from the garden and lettered the phrase “You are my rock” using Sakura’s 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. Next, I used the Pigma FB brush pen to go over the letters. To add some highlights, I used the Gelly Roll White 10, which flows nicely on the surface and adds some contrast to the black brush lettering. Check out the video to see the process (sped-up).

The Pigma ink is waterproof, but the Gelly Roll is not, so I will probably add a craft sealant before this rock goes back out to the garden.
