🐟 My ultimate comfort food: super easy fish pie, with a creamy béchamel base and wonderfully crispy potato top!
The time saving tip here is to use frozen fish, uncooked cauliflower florets, and frozen peas - combined with the béchamel, these will cook perfectly in the oven.
And instead of mashed potato, simply slice potatoes (no need to peel) for the crunchiest, crispiest, most delicious topping 😍
Which ingredients belong in a fish pie has always been a (sometimes heated!) debate, since everyone has their ultimate recipe:
To add boiled eggs or not?
Which type of fish works best?
Parsley or dill?
I’m always intrigued about people’s favourites - comment what you can’t go without in your perfect fish pie.
