Can I even make a book without Momo? That was my first question when I started this one. This is a lot more than a children’s book to me. I spent a summer at my friend’s farmhouse creating memories that’ll last a lifetime. The very same house I sought refuge on the evening we laid Momo to rest. The very same place fireflies lit up the night sky as if Momo were there with us.

Now it’s abundantly clear, I can never make a book without Momo. This is his favourite game, after all. He showed me my light and he won’t let me dim it. Also Momo is quite literally on the cover if you look closely 🔎
