I want to invite you all to share your OWN swim stories with me, because the skill of knowing how to swim is so important and can be the difference between life or death. What has your journey been with water and and the skill of swimming? Tag me in your videos using #OurSwimStories and I’ll be resharing some to my page.

I personally was inspired by the Black swim stories I came across while preparing for my chat with @swimone about the work she’s done to increase water safety awareness for young people of color. I want to share these stories with others so that collectively, we can spread awareness of this issue and spur as many people as we can to acquire this vital life skill.
