ハンナ・シューベルトさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ハンナ・シューベルトInstagram)「PART 2 of things I want to get off my chest My trip to America🇺🇸🇨🇦 I had no idea how my summer would look like when a friend from uni asked me if I want to join a roadtrip in the US (that she has already planned with a friend) just a day before they booked their flights. So it was a very spontaneous decision. All my friends and family said I should definitely take the chance and do it. So I did. It might sound stupid for some people but deciding to go on this trip wasn’t easy and a big step for me. In the past all my summers were filled with comps or training for comps. It meant that my summer would look completely different than any previous one in my life. Because my travel buddies were not climbing at all it also meant no climbing for a while. I didn’t see it as a decision against climbing I saw it simply as a decision for going on this trip. The climbing break was just a side effect of it. Summarized: This trip meant I had to step out of my comfort zone And it ended up being the best decision I ever made🥳🙌🏼 It’s hard to put into words what this trip meant to me I got to see so many beautiful different places and gather so much experience and memories that I’ll never forget❣️ I think I never felt as free as I did in these few weeks abroad. Free to do whatever I want to do. Free to be whoever I want to be I always thought I’m not a spontaneous person when actually just my lifestyle as a professional athlete wasn’t made to be spontaneous. As an athlete you have to plan out your whole year, think and plan ahead. I always felt like I struggle to really focus on the here and now and appreciate and enjoy the present. That’s why my goal for this travel was to live in the moment instead of worrying about the future or what will happen after I come back home and just soak everything in and enjoy it as much as possible! I think that worked out really well😊 I’m so thankful that I could spend the summer how I did, for Kathi and Melli for letting me join their trip and who made this time so special, for my canadian friends who let me feel so welcomed and made sure I’m having the best time exploring their country🙏 Definitely a summer I will never forget❣️」10月21日 2時41分
