Your triceps make up roughly 2/3 of your upper arm, so if you want to build BIGGER arms, adding in plenty of of isolated tricep exercises like you see from the video above will spark new growth into untapped muscle fibers💪🏼🧬

One staple in @docmcamp and my arm day is the tricep pushdown. This exercise is great for building all three heads of the triceps while increasing overall upper body strength. Pushdowns can be done using a variety of different handles, a straight bar, V-shape bar, plus many others.

Over the years I have found the V-shape bar places less wear & tear on my ligaments and joints than a straight bar, as it allows for more range of motion without putting as much stress on them as a straight bar does.

Another great aspect of this exercise is that it only requires one piece of equipment: a cable machine with a handle attached.

HOW TO PERFORM👇🏼

✅First, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold the bar with an overhand grip at shoulder level.

✅Keep your elbows tucked in close to your sides and slightly bend them as you push down on the bar toward your thighs.

✅Pause briefly at full extension before slowly bringing the bar back up so that it is parallel with your shoulders again.

✅Perform 4 sets of 12-15 repetitions with 45-60 seconds rest between sets.
