My first #girleatworld shot in two years! 🤗🍡 I haven't been able to travel outside of Singapore since late 2019 thanks to the pandemic. So when Singapore finally loosened up its border restrictions, we wasted no time booking our flight to Tokyo to be reunited with our family. After serving quarantine, I went to the famous Gingko avenue at Meiji Jingu park in hopes to take photos of the yellowing gingko trees, which are planted allll over the sidewalks of major roads in Tokyo, only to find out I was a few days late 🥺 most of the leaves in this area had fallen off. Apparently, when a gingko tree sheds its leaves, they fall simultaneously all at once. I did notice a few gingko trees around my area that was lush has turned bare almost overnight. However, I also noticed other trees that are still lush while the others next to it are bare.
