Part of Sir David Attenborough’s speech from the opening ceremony of COP26 today.

It felt so incredibly moving to see footage of our characters from Seat At The Table used in this address.

When we started this project we set out with one goal; to amplify the unheard voices of those on the front lines of this crisis. Watching Sir David Attenborough speak today alongside our incredible climate hero’s moved me to tears.

Finally it feels like world leaders are starting to grasp the severity of this crisis. Finally it feels like people are starting to wake up to the fact that this is an urgent issue of human-rights and social justice.

The stage has been set at COP26. The stakes couldn’t be higher. What happens of the next two weeks here in Glasgow will shape all of our futures.
