Everyone always asks me for Mike’s shrimpghetti recipe, so today he’s showing the girls how to make it and using our new @insinkerator to clean as he goes! #insinkeratorpartner Mike’s a clean freak (as you know) and loves that having a disposal means less bacteria and smelly odors in our kitchen trash. We’ve always had one in the apartment and got one installed at the house this fall after learning that they are Septic safe. Having a disposal is also good for the environment because you can dispose of food scraps (including meat, fish, bread and bones) without them taking up space in a landfill and adding harmful gases to the air. This model can handle a ton of food waste and it is super quiet. I could barely hear the shrimp shells going down. Speaking of shrimp, the shrimpghettti recipe calls for shrimp, pasta, tomato paste, fresh garlic, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and oregano. Boil the pasta, peel and sauté the shrimp with the rest of the ingredients. Then add the pasta to the pan to continue sautéing along with a cup of the water you cooked the pasta in. Easy peasy!
