National Geographic Travelさんのインスタグラム写真 - (National Geographic TravelInstagram)「Photo by @francescolastrucci / A coffee farmer coming from the Antioquia region meets an Arhuaco native farmer on the way to the coffee plantation situated within an indigenous community on the outskirts of Tayrona National Park, surrounded by the forests of the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. I photographed this community while on assignment for a story on the new coffee destination in Colombia. During the four-hour hike uphill, every step took me farther from the crowds, until I found myself completely immersed in nature. When I reached the village, isolated and hidden by the mist of the high forests, I found the mystical environment I was hoping to see. Once unsafe to travel to, this is the sacred ancestral home of four tribes (Arhuaco, Kogui, Wiwa, and Kankuamo) who are direct descendants of the ancient Tayrona civilization and strong believers that they are the guardians of what they consider to be the heart of the world.
