You’ll stand,
Watching snow slowly falling down the sky,
As you’d be sitting in the cafe across,
Sipping on your coffee,
And writing down another poem,
For a book you were supposed to write long ago,
But you’ll be writing down the final words,
In this setting,
While many people will cross the snow laden street down below,
Oblivious of the fact that in a few months,
They’ll be reading a book written by someone sitting by the window overlooking them.

Because you know,
These dreams come true in the strangest of manners,
But who are you to question the ways of universe,
As all it asks from you
Is to be a traveller,
Walking down the paths laden for you,
Writing your own stories.

And on some days in those stories,
It’ll be snowing outside your window,
While you’ll be smiling,
Staring at it all.
