Through black emerged the white,
Or was it the other way round,
I didn’t realise,
Until I found myself staring into the absence of every colour,
On a cold winter evening.

The trees were devoid of leaves,
Lovers were busy making out,
Under it,
Stars were broken,
And the star dust were falling above them,
I heard the song sung by a blind man,
Who once saw a vision of great Himalayas,
And then couldn’t stop singing,
In praise of them.

And under their shadow I stood,
Wondering where the world began,
And how it ended long ago,
Before it came alive once again,
Carrying us all in its womb,
Until we sprang out,
To find ourselves occupied
In the visions of darkness we once were.

While desiring the light,
We will be one day...
