Perhaps because the end of holidays is upon us, but more likely because my melatonin supplement has finally kicked in. I went to bed at a decent hour last night and I was up and about by 8.30. It might sound even a bit late to you, but trust me, for me it’s an achievement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of the curses of 2020 that I hope to undo in the new year is the way it totally f*cked up my sleep. My internal clock has been smashed and it takes me a huge effort to abide by normal, healthy sleeping times. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But this morning I got shit done, cleaned up (double pat on myself’s back), and roasted an entire butternut squash with some clementines that were past their prime (mostly for the lovely smell, and the lingering sense of Christmas), blended and made soup. Nothing as pretty and sunny as this one I shot at @madonnellaagricola nearly a year ago (Jesus!), but soothing and warming all the same. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ More bright soups in 2021 please!
